Tulane University-junior day

My son will be in Louisiana for a tournament over the week end. He was invited to the Tulane junior day on Saturday. If he pitches, as he has been told, on Friday, then he will not play on Saturday. He visited Tulane with his brother on a college visit and liked it. Should he ask his hs coach if he can attend the Junior day on Saturday since he will already be in Baton Rouge? We know nothing about this process. Thank you for the advice.

Here's the schedule...Tulane is playing @ Turchin this weekend, against Sacred Heart...New Orleans is about 2 hr. from Baton Rouge...Daughter & I are planning on driving down from Dallas to see my son & the Green Wave have a slugfest!!
There are several guys on the team from Texas, 3-4 from the Houston area. We should talk!!

If your son was invited for Jr. Day, then of course he should attend. What tournament is your high school playing out of state? Didn't know UIL allowed out of state travel after district play began.
