I have been having a problem where I am turning my top wrist back during or right before my swing every time. I cannot seem to break this habit even through hours of work and am wondering what to do. It did not happen until sometime during the summer and as a result my power numbers have gone down dramatically. I was wondering if I should squeeze the bat tighter, put it deeper in my palm or what. As a result of this wrist turning I sometimes will find that I am fighting myself during my swing. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Odd that you would pick up this habit. I would work hard at correcting your mechanics by doing a number of "dry swings" in front of a mirror. Begin at 30% speed and as you make the correction increase your speed by 20% or so. Do these "dry swings" each night, at least 20 per night. This should help you. The key is you have identified the flaw, therefore you should be able to fix it.
