I don't understand the hysterics regarding college football. The best teams are teaming up and playing each other more often? Why is that an issue?

Oklahoma has been ridiculed for years about beating up on awful defenses scoring 80 points a game. Now they join the best defensive conference in the country and it's an issue? USC and UCLA are in line to quite literally triple their TV revenue. Why wouldn't they?

The SDS article doesn't make any sense. I get it's an opinion piece but to suggest the SEC should be the adult in the room and put an end to the issue reads like satire considering they're the ones who created the issue. SEC commissioner does what's best for the member schools. His only job.

Her thesis is that this move is the culmination of decades of rudderless NCAA leadership and greedy administrations letting football spend, spend, spend....

Thanks for sharing.  Interesting quick reads.  It appears the conferences are taking control and running with the ball while the NCAA sits on their hands...powerless.   Everybody remembers what happens after the storming of the Bastille in the French Revolution.....something about a Reign of Terror.  I guess we're going to find out real soon.
