Using the Quote Feature

I'm repeating (quoting) what you said just to make sure the instructions I type are correct.

I just clicked the first yellow icon in the lower right corner of your post. Mouse over the tiny yellow folder with a quotation mark above it, and you will see a message, "Reply With Quote". Click this and a Reply To window will open, with the other poster's message copied inside of quote tags. If you don't want to quote their whole post, just delete parts of it, but leave the quote tags in place. Then add your reply below their quote, and click Post Now as usual.

Or, at least on my system, highlight the text you want to copy, right click on it and choose copy. Then hit reply, the quoted text will appear as above but does not reference the author

Don't quote me on this, but I think both MN-Mom and catcher09 have given you correct instructions, albeit a little different from each other.
