Back in the day there were two "talking" beer steins famous in Utica...Shultz and Dooley...their product was Utica Club, or as the locals called it, "U. C."

Can you believe Utica Club originally had turned us down? As soon as that happenned we had 2 others approach us, Spirit and Sanzone was in our GM's office that day and made us a great offer. They are our beer sponsor for 2011.

Yes, they league is very competitive. MLB provides funding and sponsorship of the league, the NYCBL has been in existance since 1978 and 120 players have been drafted in the last 3 years that have played in the league.

Im sure some of you have heard the drama that happenned this offseason with Perfect Game. If not a few teams in the league broke off to form the Perfect Game Collegiate League. They were denied MLB sponsorship and funding, when that happenned a few of the teams tried to come back to the NYCBL and were denied. We actually played a non league game against one of the teams in the Perfect Game League this past Tuesday and won.

Overall we take pride in our player development and most of our players have been personally scouted throughout this past fall and spring by myself or our Asst. GM. Hopefully we keep winning!
