Question for you guys, I play at a division two school in the south and a school that we play is notorious for bush league tactics. To set up the scenario, opposing team has runners on first and third and I am in the field. The batter squares around to bunt as the opposing teams bench yells squeeze as the batter pulls back and slash's. My coach comes out calling for verbal interference by the opposing team but the umpire says it is legal but rather bush league. Is there a rule against this?

The NCAA uses the same rule as FED and the rule states that it is illegal

Interference is any act: physical, including visual, or verbal that hinders or confuses the defense...

Yet I will agree with MST that your instance is going to be a very hard call in D2...with our backs to the dugouts and focusing on the potential play it may be dificult for us to dtermine who called "squeeze".........that being said....if the team has a history of pulling this, then umpires will spread it around and it will get called....
