So my 2021 got some legit interest from a few D1s, but came up short (I now realize it was great for him) and committed to a JUCO last summer. He's kept those D1 as targets for when he's ready to transfer to a 4-year to finish and doesn't want the relationships with the coaches to 100% dry up. So periodically, he likes to check in just help keep his name floating somewhere in their recruiting ether. After fall ball of 2020 (Oct/Nov), he checked in with them. Just a quick note that essentially conveyed "hey, I'm still coming there and I continue to grind" and a new highlight video. So with his spring high school season just completed, he plans to do the same thing again now. Will those coaches and RCs actually watch the video? Maybe, but probably not. But for those who will watch it, he wants to give them the best possible stuff to watch.
We've been mostly good about following the traditional do's and don't's for videos, but this time I figured I'd solicit some feedback/input from none other than the fine folks here at HSBBW that have been hugely important to my son's journey over the last couple years.
