Hello. I am just finishing college and am getting ready to open my own baseball facility. I am interested in doing hitting lessons over the internet. Would anybody be interested. You would send me video of your swing and for a price I can send you either an e-mail or a phone call of what you can do differently.

I am a former infielder from Wichita State. I have been helping hitters from all age groups over the past few years improve their swing. If you are interested, please send me a pm or e-mail at baseball4life05@hotmail.com and we can discuss it further.

I hope to hear from you soon.
Need hitting instruction? Have a video? E-mail me for help.

Hello Shocker. Best advice I can give is to get a reputation first. Work at a local facility and help at local camps. You may then gain some hitting students and if you are successful at relaying information to younsters who can understand it and put it to use, you can then move on to bigger and better things. Soliciting over the internet is often frowned upon here and you may hear about it.
Coachric,

I actually own my own facility. I played baseball at Wichita State University and have done their camps along with my own lessons and classes. My question was more if there would be interest in video lessons. I figured there would be no better place to see if the interest is there than here on this forum.

I didn't mean to annoy anyone, I just wanted to know if the interest would be there before I began developing a website and program. Sorry for any misunderstanding.
INShocker:

Congrats on starting your own business. Coachric advice still holds. If you want to extend your reach beyond your local area you will have to develop a reputation beyond your current word of mouth reach. No offense, but right now you are just another college player who wants to give lessons. You may be good, but you might not, no one really knows sitting here reading a post.

The one person who comes to my mind in trying to build up a business beyond his local area is Perry Husband out in California. I would check out his approach. He has written several books, done some DVD's, is doing enewsletter and is doing more regional hitting clinics.

Good Luck!
BOF: Thanks for the advice. I believe I have built a pretty decent base in my local area, that is why I was trying to extend my business.

This is more the kind of input I was wanting...the more how-to get started on the internet, I guess I just worded my post wrong. I will be creating a website in the near future with video, etc.

I really appreciate everyones input.
