I have several visits lined up in the next few months for myself at various colleges. I'm very excited but at the same time a little nervous because I'm fairly new to the "game". I've heard I should just "be myself" on the visits pertaining to clothes. Does that mean I should just wear a polo and jeans or khaki shorts if its hot? Also, what are some of the things I should expect to talk about? I've done my research on the programs and whatnot and have somewhat of a mental list of things to ask and mention. What should I expect from the coaches? Just kind of new to the whole thing and I know people here aren't so any help/suggestions would be great. Thanks a lot.

Polo & dockers. You can't go wrong by being dressed nicely.

Sounds like you have done your homework well.

Different coaches will want to discuss different things. Some will be friendly, some formal. Some meetings will be brief, others extended.

If asked a question for which you were unprepared, take a few seconds to think about your answer. Better to do this than to pop out an answer you might regret.

You will do well.
JH - Texan is exactly right. I would add - no earing, long hair or hat on backwards. Check out photos of the players online. Look like you belong.
As for the conversation - the coaches are experts, and will make you feel welcome. There are things you might want to know, like if your major is offered, do athletes live in a separate dorm or with the rest of the student body, how many freshman got playing time last year at your position, study halls, tutoring, weight room/facilities, etc. Good luck!
