If your son is a serious prospect, not unusual at all. The visits indicate serious interest, so if you have not started thinking about what the draft might mean to you and your son and the decisions you might have to make, now's a good time, BEFORE it all comes crashing down on him in-season.
Jimbo6, good going for your son, must be a really good ballplayer! Good advice is to listen to all they have to say, it sounds like he will be in the 2009 draft. It is a good opportunity for him to ask questions, find out what aspects of the game scouts believe he needs to work on.
The anticipation of the first such visit is exciting. The reality of it is often boring. After a few you'll tire of them quickly, but it's something you need to do to enhance your son's situation.
