I must say that I have come to enjoy to college games better than the pro games, including spring training. Probably it has something to do with knowing many of the players, but it just seems more fun and exciting and with sustained effort. And definitely cheaper!
I still love the Pro Game, but I have to agree with you jemaz. My 2011 son is being recruited by a number of schools, and we've been fortunate enough to attend games at several schools thus far this season; USD, UCSD, LMU, USC, UCR, CSULB, and UCI. We're having a good time watching the competition, and Dad is happy that son is on the Prospect Lists, which has given us the opportunity to watch for free.
We're looking forward to several more games thoughout the season, even at many of the schools that we'll have to pay to attend!
I'm sure it's a blast watching your son and his friends compete out on the college diamond! Hopefully my son gets that opportunity in the future too?
