Hey Joe,
Hope all is well.
We haven't spoken in quite some time. I would like to update you on what's going on with our organization. This past summer are 15U Clipper team was invited to participate in the Perfect game 15U BCS finals in Fort Myers Florida, The tournament was a great experience for are boys. We stepped right into the batters box and faced teams ranked in the top 10 of the country. Are pitching staff did very well against these teams, but struggled at the plate against some of the best pitchers in the country. We have made some changes for next year. We are also changing are program just a little we are adding a 16U team for the 2011 season. We have invited 9 of are 15 player to come back for next year And will be looking to add some more depth to are pitching staff. We also will be looking to add a 1st basemen and outfielders this fall. One of the reasons to add a 16U team is the boys we have just love playing together and would like nothing but to stay together. So we have elected to add a 16U team for next year, but will play as a showcase team. We will be making every effort to play in the following tournaments. Georgia East Cobb, Florida Perfect Game, Massachusetts Northeast select Baseball Prospects Tournament, Baseball Heaven Long Island N.Y and Battle of the Boarder Port Chester N.Y.
Another change is are 15U team will not participate in any spring leagues. We found that with this age it's just too hard to schedule games due to players on there High school teams. The rest of are ages 11U, 12U, 13U and 14U will stay the same.
Also we have never said we are affiliated with your program and I also try never to use Clippers baseball to any of are info we put out there to the public.
Thank you,
Victor Torres
