What do you swing?

2013 Son uses 32/29 Omaha BESR. He loves the bat, good pop. Did not want to spend 400 on Vodoo or EXO since he could only use it for a year. The Omaha was a great alternative at half the price.

2013, we are a Omaha family also. Both sons have swung them for years. Great product for the price and performance. BBCOR here in CA is enforce, but still great product from LS.

LS Wood product very good also. 271, 110, I13 models have been some of their favorites.

In games Jr swings a CF4 BESR, because that is what the team has for this season. The rest of the time he swings an Old Hickory (don’t remember the mdl), a Baum, and a Max Bat. He switches between them in BP just to get the feel of the various weight distribution. Always finishes his round with the game bat.

BOF, I like finishing the round with the game bat. That is a new one for me. Good idea...

We live in California and my 16 yo son has gone over to wood exclusively: He uses a 33" maple ZC-71 (-3) with flared knob made by ZC Bats in Anderson, Indiana.

2014 son uses Mizuno wood maple 34" for the wood bat league he plays in summer and fall. For HS ball he uses a 33" Demarini Voodoo in games and practices with his wood bat in the cage.

2014 kid swings a waivered BESR Omaha. It was under $150 and he seems to like it, as does about half of his team. He also swings wood(271) on occassion. Other kids seem to like the CF4, too.

On the occasion when I take BP with one of the sons I use a broken Marucci that I repaired with wood screws, staples and tape. It is maple JR7 model "Steven Drew" issued. I got this bat from a friend, and it is a rock - love swinging this bat. Just can't afford to buy a new one.

34-31 rawlings bbcor as per ncaa rules, currently about to make the jump to the rare 35"-32oz. bbcor for some more plate coverage/power....summer ball I enjoy the akadema A543 34" woodie....you might be able to tell my love for swingin the big stick hah

Wood. Black Hills Bat Company, Nellie Fox Model. 34.5 inches (claims to be 35) and 36 ounces. Only in practice. That bat foists excellent mechanics, because it is absolutely impossible to swing that thing with only your arms, shoulders, and hands.

33" ash Louiville Sluggers between 27.1oz - 29.7oz.

35yrs old and play in an adult wood bat league. I like lighter bats, and ash is less dense (therefore lighter) than maple.

Annex Model 271 is my favorite model, evenly balanced. I am a power hitter and a gap shot hitter so that's what I use. I like a -1oz bat the more dense the wood the stronger it is. www.annexbaseball.com
