Hopefully the high school field. Games start that week, weather permitting.
April 6-10, my son and his HS team will be at the Braves spring training facility in the Orlando, FL area. Somewhere around 5 games scheduled. Depending on the weather at home... I may be there watching.
We went to MB, for the Ripken Experience, last year. Son's team is going back to Florida, this year, for the Snowbird classic.
He will be there the week of 3-8.

Good baseball there. April much better than June. June is hurricane season. Good luck.
Phoenix Arizona for the USSSA Spring Championship Dual Super NIT. 4 games plus bracket play. Plan on taking in some MLB Spring Training action as well.
High School ball is in full swing in Texas during spring break. I'll be at the local field's. District play for us starts the following week..

HS Season is starting up here in IL. Though the wife and I found a 4 day gap and are heading to Punta Cana. Trying to convince her we need to find some games down there to watch

Cool, thats the game I am looking forward to the most. Morovian, is in the D3 baseballs top 30. I am also looking forward to Hampden-Sydney.
The fields at the Ripken experience are very nice. I suggest eating at Fiesta del Burro Loco.

it is a bit of a tourist trap, but yhe food was good, and it was not very busy.
Myrtle again... 3/3-3/7 (Muhlenberg - playing Manhattanville, Mount St. Mary, York, Grove City, Scranton, and Johnson & Wales) with a stop on the way down in Greensboro, NC at Guilford for a single game. I agree the Ripken Experience fields are nice and of course modelled after old time famous ballparks. Funny how short some of the fences were - easily reached by today's bats. If the new ball is in play, that'll spice things up... Admission is free (no nickel and dime for your $3-5 entrance per day). They have reasonable food on site for DH days and/or cravings. You can easily bring in your own too.
Let's hope the weather is better this year... Last year day 1 was in the 60's, but by day 4 it was in the 30's. Rained more than half week. Last day was back to the 50's and 70's as I'm walking into the airport terminal. This year I only get the first 1/2 of the week (wife's vacation time is short), but we're doing a two-fer being able to start in Belmont, NC to watch my youngest son's team play a DH vs Southern Wesleyan and then off to Guilford - so we'll get 7 games in 5 days which will be nice.
There's a lot of places to eat in MB - many are tourist traps. Broadway on the Beach has quite a bit to do and places there are used to taking teams in. Our team went to Capriz Italian Feast - it has a large all your can eat bar and they have waiters that go around with pizzas, different italian style foods, and you can choose which you want until you're done. Wait for the good stuff - they seem to bring around a lot of pasta stuff first, then come back later with tasty meats (tasty, so I'm told ;-)). We hit up a few non touristy places which were good, but I forget their names now. You won't have a problem getting in during March that's for sure - just competing with the locals and the early golfers.

When we were there last year we had the team meal at Capriz. It was a great experience. The best part was yhe servers coming by with appetizers. It was a good way to mingle and meet the new families.
Don't mind me resurrecting this thread.
Son's team leaves Monday April 6th for their spring trip. As it appears that we're going from winter to summer this year, I have decided to fly down there during the week and watch some baseball. They are playing 5 games, all at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, FL. Looks like their Wednesday game is in the Braves Spring Training stadium.
I'm staying in a different hotel then the team, as I've had enough of Disney for at least a few more years.
36 degrees outside right now. My butt is out of here!
New york dad ,
enjoy.......
