According to your profile you're thirteen years old. Play both (assuming you make the teams) through freshman year before you give the situation another thought. You can play both through high school.

However, there is a benefit to having the winter to get ready for baseball. When my son was cut from basketball soph year (after being the starting freshman team point guard) for not attending any voluntary offseason workouts due to s0ccer and fall ball, his baseball skills improved immensely from baseball training in the winter. I guess you could say choosing fall ball in his free time over voluntary basketball workouts was the real decision.

At thirteen you don't know if you're a college baseball prospect. It's too soon to derail the possibility of an enjoyable high school experience playing both sports.
