My son is turning 28 this summer. He was a 2011. His travel and college teammates have either made it (one made it, two are AAAA players) or they’re done. As kids careers end my milb.com tracking list is dwindling. It’s down to a handful of local high school and college kids I’ve watched, Nick Bush and Riley Gilliam. I believe our W&M player is no longer playing. I know of one potential first rounder this summer. Does anyone else in here have a minor leaguer to follow?

I have lost track of many HSBBW sons that have been selected and played. This is a nice idea, RJM. College, HS and even PG links are also nice.
Too may years ago I posted draft information from what I could gather:
My son, Tim Melville has played in a number of different organizations and is currently in Taiwan's CPBL.

Buddy Reed’s Dad is a HSBBWer as well although he’s not a frequent poster any more.
I have several I follow that were teammates at various stops for my son. Guys he played with at the University of Pennsylvania and several he played with at Texas A&M. Three of his A&M teammates were taken in the top 50 of last years abbreviated draft, including #4 in the first round. Add to that summer ball including the (Futures League/Cape Cod) and there are plenty to keep up with. Plus a few from here on HSBBW.
Interestingly, two of his HS travel ball teammates are on the 40 man for the Marlins, one is currently active on the ML roster, the other was the last two seasons, but appears to be starting the year in the minors. One is a pitcher (Clemson), the other middle infield (Pick 70 out of HS). The third baseman on that team is in AA (Vanderbilt) the last time I checked. Mine was drafted and two other pitchers were too, which isn't bad for a travel team from New England.
I am a Marlins fan. Our friend and local HS star Lewis Brinson (LB) is outfielder.
I have a few I follow. Mostly FAU drafted players and one of sons pitchers from Florida Southern who is with Cardinals doing well. Most of the guys my son played with are either big leaguers, out of the game or college coaches.
I really prefer following the college guys and college baseball.
We have 2 players and one coach from our International tours to Australia. Kenny Rosenberg [Rays], Bernardo Flores [Cardinals] both LHP and Coach Tim Cossins [Orioles].

The father of Joe Rizzo in the Seattle farm system used to post here frequently, but hasn't for a while.
RJM, I've been "tracking" the fastest prospect in the SF Giants organization.

RF, the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes (who are about 20min away from us) have released their schedule and I am extremely bummed to see that the SJG will not be visiting until after 7/31, when we will be returning to the east coast. However, we hope to make a late summer or early fall visit to Richmond, where perhaps the Flying Squirrels will have added another speedster.
RJM, I’m floored that a random human would care about my kid. It’s pretty cool that a site like this could bring random strangers together that in real life would most likely never cross paths. Thanks for that kind gesture. I’m certain Riley’s dad feels the same.
Absolutely, I enjoy meeting everyone’s sons on here and following who I can. It keeps me engaged and otherwise busy since I have checked out of any media outlets etc.

How is Nick doing?

It's funny how some players you watch and immediately see that they have it. I was fortunate to see my son pitch on Fathers Day 2019 and Lewis Brinson was on the opposing team. He stood out that day. Here is a screen shot of him about to hit the first of two homers that day.

Hoping to see Ripken Fan's son, Simon Whiteman, in Richmond/AA soon!

(The 3rd rounder that was drafted out of W&M in 2017 is not playing any longer. I do not know the story on that.)
There was an article on him in the West Chester PA paper. He got banged up and retired. I confused him with your son even though I knew he’s from PA and you’re not. Maybe his name stuck in my head since my son played against him in high school. But the net of it is I’ll be following the right person this year.
It's so cool to hear(read) about people's sons, and their progress in baseball(or just their adventures in life)! Aaron Hernandez is High A pitcher for the Angels organization is a really nice guy. He that gave my son some lessons, and is someone that i'm following.
Best of luck to all who have kids "In the game" , or have just graduated to the "game of Life"!
My son gets his first start today, on espn+ at 1:00cst. TTU vs SFA. “Special Circumstances” start. We lost our Friday night guy, announced last night. Son will probably go 3/4 innings max.
While you’re there, check out Covid frosh Jace Jung, leading D1 in HR’s. His brother Josh was drafted #5 overall last year by Rangers.
