I'm an 18-year old senior in high school who has been working out since the last season ended. Recently I have been researching baseball workouts a little more, and decided to change it by adding rotator cuffs and some running to my workouts. Now for my normal weight lifting routine, would it be better to do a shorter, isolated workout such as chest/back/shoulders on Monday, run on Tuesday, bis/tris/forearms on Wednesday, run on Thursday, Legs/abs/lower back on Friday, rest for the weekend. Or a more general, longer full body workout every other day? Thanks for the input.

The future ain't what it used to be.

JWoah,
I play ball at East Tennessee State and our workouts are mainly fully body every other day. with cardio in between. I used to do the isolated workouts but found that I seem to get more gain out of a full body workout. Alot of our upper body exercises are dumbbell as well.
Hope that helps a little.
