Here are a lot of Nice hotels and it depends on what you want.
For a little more luxury you can try the Plaza Permiter. Very nice, a bit more pricey, and maybe 20-25 minutes from the East Cobb complex on a normal day, leave early if you are hitting rush hour. It is a big hotel, with a lot of ammenities.

Also reccomend the Hawthorne Suites. Some posts from other members state what I would have said well!

Last summer stayed at the Hawthorne Suites, I believe on Windy Hill Road. It was a host hotel and had $1 beer and wine every night for a couple hours, along with a featured appetizer/meal like taco night, salad night etc. The rooms were very neat and clean. COntinental breakfast was fabulous and the fields were all about 15-20 minutes away. They have a swimming pool, hot tub, washing machines on property as well as a work out room. It was about $75 a night I think. I HIGHLY recommend it

We also stayed at the Hawthorne Suites on Windy Hill. Beautiful grounds with tennis courts, basketball, nice sized pool and rooms that were second to none in both size and value. Full hot breakfast each morning plus Monday-Thursday there is a manager reception that features enough food to qualify as a meal. Never had to travel more than 20 minutes to a field and we only played 1 game at East Cobb Complex which was 15 minutes away. As well as for the parents and families I would highly recommend the team stay there. Most East Cobb tourneys run a full week and having the extra room for the players (the rooms ARE the size of apartments) made for a pleasant stay for them as well. Plus the saving of food costs with the full breakfast and mgr. reception 4 days and having stoves and refrigerators (our kids figured out right away it was cheaper and easier to go to a store and load up on frozen pizzas, gatorade, water and snacks than eat out)made it actually cheaper overall than staying at a budget hotel. There are also many gas grills on site for guest use ( we had a 4th of July picnic for the team and all family members and friends that made the trip for probably a tenth of the cost of going to a burger joint)

Another hotel that had good prices, great rooms and a great continental breakfast, was the Holiday Inn Express on Hammond Drive in Sandy Springs/North Perimeter.

One Reccomendation!! Bring your GPS, it is a tremendous asset finding fields, restaurants etc. unless you are wuite familiar with the Atlanta area.
