Hard to disagree with that logic...the commish's office lost it's umph when Giamatti died and a man named Fay took over.

MLB needs a Roger Goodell of their own with a sprinkle of Paul Tagliabue for good measure.

Definately don't need a David Stern because I think he destroyed the NBA as a team sport when he went all in with endorsing individual players.

I just wonder...as Barry is indicted and the Mitchell report being finalized...that since Bonds came first...will Mitchell, with his vested interest as a part owner of a team...will he sanitize the report?
