Another day....another kid announcing a commitment to a D1 on Twitter and getting the name of the school WRONG! Unreal. Not going to say which one, but it would be like an Ohio kid announcing he was going to the University of Ohio State....or a Florida kid going to the University of Florida State. C'mon kids if you can't get that right, I worry about them being able to handle the rigors of college...lol. Ok, sorry, rant over

Based on your location I assume you saw the same one I did lol
The latest running joke among our HS team guys... when someone does something stupid, he gets called an athlete student (vs student athlete, of course).

The same way a school can recruit a kid before he gets into HS....happens all the time.
Similarly, years ago the University of Illinois hired a nationally recognized coach for its football program. As a brand new hire at his introductory press conference, this coach pronounced Illinois as "Illinoise" (ill-i-noyz).
In the past year I've used a Direct Message to let two different kids know that their commit tweets have the college name wrong.
I saw one too. I won't say which school he was committing to.
They will soon learn that attention to detail is very important to their Head Coach. Let the learning begin!

Yep. Had one of our athletes do that... many of us on staff laughed about that one for weeks...
