Wow, what a difference a little change in delivery can make.  Son is a RHP at a D1.  Struggled all last fall and this spring with control issues.  We blamed it on making the switch from a SS/RHP to a PO and the change in throwing motion.  Really just never got in the flow of it...including this entire spring.  Had flashes of good...but control issues seemed to always be holding him back.  Fast forward to this summer...and his college league.  First 2 appearances....walked 6 of 20 batters he faced in 3.2 innings....though luckily no real damage....only 2 runs.   His pitching coach had him come in a little early the next day and worked with him on a subtle change to his stance/delivery.  Wow, what a change.  He went 49 batters without a walk...until giving up a BB last night. 13.1 innings without allowing a freebie.   First start of the summer....6 IP, 86 pitches....58 strikes and back to hitting 90 multiple times.   It's amazing what two different coaches seeing the same kid pitch can see....and what a subtle change can do.  Hoping it keeps up....because he is REALLY enjoying being on the mound again
