I think there may be some confusion here between the summer and fall events.

To clarify, the 18u event in Jupiter in late October is the most highly scouted event in all of amateur baseball.

A guy who's 18u in the fall was 17u the preceding summer. The summer 17u and 18u, both at East Cobb/Marietta sites, are both highly scouted, the 17u probably a bit more. Many teams head down there for both weeks back to back to maximize the experience.

Jupiter will have, I think, only 80 teams. The summer events are easier to get into, with over 200 teams participating, but they are of necessity more spread out. At East Cobb, you'll see 30-40 scouts at a game at the complex, maybe 20 at a high profile game away from there, maybe only a handful at a game that meets neither criterion. In Jupiter, there are over 1,000 college and pro scouts circulating among 13 fields all in close proximity. Part of a single game might be seen by hundreds of scouts.
What an awesome experience Jupiter is. The last year we went we made it to the final 8, and felt like we were robbed on a couple unconventional calls.

But, what I would do to be able to repeat an enjoy those years again...some of the best times we have ever had!

The Holiday Inn at Juno Beach is a great spot to stay, not the fanciest hotel, but 1 block from the beach.
