Xavier- Division 1, Atlantic 10 confrence recruit kids out of illinois sweet lookin field.

SIUE- Division 2, play in the GLVC which is where I am going next year.(Quincy)They only use wood bats. They re-did there field and it looks nice. decent team, seems like they recruit only juco players.

Augustana- Division 3 powerhouse, expensive school, no athetic scholarships, varsity and jv, and the coach came to my school.(nice guy)
Also a sweet lookin field.
Xavier is a nice school, friendly campus tucked in a reasonably nice neighborhood just north of downtown Cincinnati. Basketball is king there. They have put a fair amount of $$ into their athletic facilities over the past 10 years or so.

I remember when Xavier wasn't so good at basketball, when they played football and I remember taking my SATs at Xavier. bothered

Somethng else to know about Xavier, they have had 3 head coaches in the last 3 years. The coach in '04 left after 15-18 years, they hired an assistant coacu from Miami-Ohio to replace him. After the '05 season that coach left to go back to Miami-Ohio as their new head coach. The current head coach was an assistant coach last year. They have had a losing record the last few years but seems to inch closer to .500 last year. They are a toung team, most of their juniors have been playing significant roles since their freshman year.

So many changes make it hard to be competitive, maybe this coach will stick around and see it grow
