I think II mom has the dreaded "Istateism" complex. It has to do with people that have issues with States that do not begin with the letter "I". The WI & MN contingents will lobby the State governments to have the "W" and "M" removed from the State name to make II mom happy and allow us to participate. In the meantime II mom, please let us non-I States in, we promise only to post things that meet your approval.

Boomer is alive and well!!!! Working part-time in the evenings at a Home Depot has kept me busy.

Have been watching my son play sophomore baseball at LT. They are 24-4, and 14-1 in conference. Our "BIG" games are this weekend against OPRF. We have a "loaded" team. Swept Hins. Cent., York, Genbard West, Prov. West, and went 2-1 against Downers Grove North (Steve Sir-ko-vich - sorry Steve, but that's a tough name to spell) pitched a very good game against us.

It's sounds like I'm bragging, but I'm not!!! Are kids are good, not full of themselves, and have created a strong team bond. They "come-to-play". We're deep in all positions, can hit, and play solid, fundamental baseball.

Some of our parents are speculating as to who will be invited to play on the summer team for JV, and Varsity. Kind of a way of seeing who will play next year. Travel ball is right-around-the corner, and promises to be fun.
