Conference 3 All Conference Team

There was actually a tie in voting for First Team catcher.  The AD submitting the list corrected the omission last night.  (From the same article cited above):

Congrats to all the players.

With all due respect, how did Franklin Co. coach not get coach of the year? Seems like they came out of nowhere to rise to top of conference. Congrats to Coach Schumaker but seems like they had a little more to work with, no?

James River beat Franklin Co., beat Cosby twice, went 1-1 against Thomas Dale.  Franklin Co. also lost to Cosby twice.  I don't know who they play during the regular season but I don't think it was as strong of schedule as Cosby or James River.  Franklin Co. was #1 seed by a coin flip over James River.  I think Coach Schumaker was a good call.  

Pete's last name is Schumacher (not that the spelling makes a difference in this conversation).
