I searched and found most posts are over two years old on this topic. We are considering this showcase in December and would like to hear from someone who has actually been to a Showball showcase.  Pro's? It's 3 days, with over 50 college coaches in attendance. All levels of school are represented - several that are on my son's list that he may not be able to play in front of any other way. Son is in great shape, reaching full height and weight now. Cons? It's $700 plus travel expenses, and though we've done showcases before, they were always invitational and tournament style so it seemed like the caliber of player was more a sure thing (and thus the caliber of schools too). Then again, they were large, spread out, and the college coaches in attendance seemed to congregate around the 14 year old throwing 90.

Any experiences welcome, thanks.

Every one we have been to have been well run.  Games were ahead of schedule and are geared towards pitchers (counts starts 1-1 with big strike zone.) Lots of head coaches usually.  Take the evaluation with a grain of salt to some degree as my son's was always completed by a non-pitching oriented volunteer assistant.

He received no less than a dozen phone calls and a couple offers from Showball Showcases.  The only one better that he has been to is Stanford Camp.

Also, make sure you email/call the head coaches on their list before you go.  Send video if you have it with short BIO.  If your son pitches and they like what they saw/read from your email they will do their best to watch him throw his innings.
