I think a lot of the success of the programs luvbaseball mentioned (WB, GB and NR) may be due to the youth league feeder systems that have been in place for decades. WBAC for WB, SCAA for GB and SYAA for NR (to some extent although it feeds into all three Suffolk high schools) where kids start learning the game of baseball at age 5. What league feeds into OS?

WB's test will be its next two games when it plays two teams (Great Bridge and Nansemond River) who currently are tied for second place in the SED standings.
