Submarine Pitching Coach
Hello, I’m looking for a submarine pitching coach in the Atlanta area. Preferably south. I’m in high school and trying to improve velocity and ball movement. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Re: Submarine Pitching Coach
Find a PC that was a submariner. My experience has been that only guys that threw that way themselves are good at teaching it. If you can’t find that make sure you find a PC that has a history of helping guys that throw from down under. Anything less than that and you are wasting your time and money.

My splitter is a bit unpredictable. I can usually get it close. I rarely go 3-1 though. If the guy gets to first it’s because I tattooed him by accident. Get Outlook for iOS< https://aka.ms/o0ukef >

I don't really know much about pitching but I think an important aspect is that the arm isn't really dropped much but the body is tilted over a lot. Watch this video https://blogs.fangraphs.com/ko...ig-league-ambitions/ Arm slot is usually only really body posture. How long have you been throwing submarine and what is your timing like? Are you trying to gain velo during the season? If you can wait until after the season I'd recommend looking into a place like the FL Baseball Armory. My son went there last year as soon as his HS season ended. He also throws from a low slot and they were able to help with command, movement, and velo. They also helped with his breaking stuff.

Re: Submarine Pitching Coach
I’ve been at it for 6 months. My arm slot kept dropping until it felt great at 9 o’clock. Then my Dad sent me to a Sidearm Nation weekend camp where I started working on Submarine. It was one weekend of instruction which really helped. I would like to be in the 70’s. I’m 60-65 now. I also want to make sure my mechanics are correct so I don’t mess up my arm. My season is pretty much over. I was looking for a summer local travel team to help keep me on the field. Maybe a summer camp or two...
