07' Top Unsigned Seniors Showcase

have any players who have commited to go yet?

I have not heard a word about Grant Fillipitch.
To me, he is one of the top hitter's in the State!!! And I believe he is Lyons Township number one pitcher. How could he not be signed as of yet?????????? Saw him at Stevenson go yard with a line shot over left center on a 0-2 count, and make 2 nice play's at third and pitch a nice inning.

Hey Justin, have you heard from Carlos Rivera (OF-East Aurora)for the Unsigned Senior Showcase? Just curious because he informed me that he was planning on attending.

The initial nominations have been reviewed and players are currently being contacted and registered. This year we are planning on having 60-70 players in attendance. We will be contacting colleges and pros this week for their commitments.

This was the first time I've heard of this showcase. And I am wondering if it is still possible to sign up.

What a great event! Except for a couple minor snags I thought that this went really well. The SPARQ test was longer than I thought and we didn't get to C & OF throws. Overall I thought the players gave a great effort and showed well. We had great attendance by colleges and pros (30+) and we got to eat one of the best sub's on earth. Hero's Subs sponsored lunch for the players, coaches, and scouts. We will post results of SPARQ and other info within the next week as I confer with the colleges and pros.

As for who showed well….I was running around like a chicken with his head cut off, but a few that caught my eye (only head turners not scientific): Elliot Armstrong, Jack Edwards, Billy Les, John Koszulinski.
