Thank you for posting this. What a powerful message about being a parent and loving your kid for who he is and celebrating his accomplishments.

I get it that there's a downside to the story. He was cut - and I know that hurt. But the message I heard was to tell my son how proud I am of him and that I have his back no matter what happens on the diamond.

I hope MJ has huge success in his future.

We will be likely be losing 2 OF to the draft, could use him in our program next year if he doesn't stay for a second season.

There is no shortage of reasons to root against the Longhorns. But they keep giving us new reasons on a regular basis
