best '09's???
Depends on who has made (or is expected to make) an impressive contribution (as in wins, K's, saves) on HS varsity teams or certain select teams last summer & this past fall, then in the spring.

There will be chatter soon enough.

Who is the Kettler? HS Team? Summer Team?

Chad Kettler plays short for Coppell. I have seen him pitch for the Tigers during the Summer but I don't think he will pitch much for Coppell this Spring, if that is who you are thinking of. Coppell does have another 09 that will get a chance to be the #2 but he will have to beat out several 08's including DaLa, and Neider.

Flower Mound has Brunkenhoefer and he plays for Marshals, the kid throws strikes and has a couple of pitches. I think Flower Mound has another 07 that is a pitcher that should make varsity, I don't know his name either.
Kettler is a sinker ball pitcher that has good command of his offspeed. Not an overpowering fastball by any means but relies on hitting his spots and keeping the team off-ballance. (sounds like another pitcher writing this message) I think he could definately be effective in short work, or situational outings (which is how I feel most sophomore pitchers that aren't blowing smoke should be used... or are just dominating-usually they blow smoke).
Two 09 young men that my son played with last summer on the McKinney Marshals from Wylie will make a name for themselves, Jake Feckely and Daniel Jordan.

These two boys made the team go, I don't remember a bad game from either boy. Both are on the Varsity for the spring and they might have played Varsity last year.

Sorry I forget to mention them before, I just got caught-up in the Coppell / Flower Mound thing and the focus on 6-5A.
