Archer city has few boys that can flat out play. A lot of Burkburnett Black Sox, Dbat and Tigers will be represented in this 1A contest. Should be some good baseball.

It should be a great series. Both teams have kids who can play. Don't under estimate Dodd City. They have a high school enrollment of only 64 students but they have some good athletes.
Great playoff baseball game played between Archer City and Dodd City.
Archer City took a 7-1 lead after a 3 run HR in the top of the 4th. Dodd City battled back scoring a run in each of the next 3 innings.
Bottom of the 7th down by three Dodd City scores 3 runs to take it to extras.
In the 8th both teams advance runners to third but cannot score.
Top of the 9th Archer City scores 2 to go up 9-7.
Bottom of the 9th Dodd City scores 1 run on a double then loads the bases on an error at third. Next batter then hits a single to right tying the game with bases still loaded and two outs. Both pitchers have gone the distance, and coaches sticking with their aces, Dodd City gets a walk off walk to win game one 10-9.
Game two set for 6pm Friday at LHS.

Heard from Archer City coach that Dodd City was "real" good and should have a legit shot to win it this year. P.S. He did not think the "play" was bush league as was proposed in the other thread..."it's part of baseball."
