Look's like PBR was right on. Predicted Benet as number one before the season started. Can't wait to see them play tonight,at Bendictine College.

Not great pitching from either side until Jon Carlson came out of the pen for GBS. Overall a great high school baseball game with two good teams trying to out hit each other. The game was close all the way and could have gone either way.

With no other game to watch I made the trip to Benedictine to see the Benet play GBS. I have to say that Benedictine is a great setting and it has great lighting, which let me tell you makes a difference. I've seen night games at high school fields and some college fields as well that you might as well as have had people hold flash lights on the field, but Benedictine was a great setting overall and a great setup. The game was also very well played with only one error in the entire game and none in the infield (GBS RF played a single into three). The pitching might not have been great (Carlson was very good), but considering the number of games teams had to play this week that wasn't a shock. Anyway it was a great game and I'm sure the kids from both sides loved playing there, GBS just got the key hit.
