First of all - DON'T MOVE TO PENNSYLVANIA!!! We can't start until the first Monday in March!!

Maybe take a serious look at what you have been doing - Have you really playing worse or not - have you been working on skills?? Sometimes when you are working on stuff, the results, especially in the beginning, are meaningless - you are looking long term. Working on new pitches, new batting stance/stroke?? These things take time. Come the start of HS tryouts, everything you did the past couple months "stat-wise" is meaningless [unless the HS coach has been the one coaching you!! HAH - maybe in that case you SHOULD move to PA - just kidding]. The big thing is to show up with a clean slate, mentally, b/c you'll have a clean slate physically. Or maybe you don't take the off-season ball as serious - if you don't, then you shouldn't take the results seriously. But not taking it serious right before you start tryouts is not a good thing - can create bad habits. Just try to turn some things around before tryouts start and go in with a good attitude.
