Tyler Clements got the start today for the Dolphins and found himself behind early today. With both teams hitting the ball hard in the first inning, Bayside was the first to break the even score in the top of the 2nd thanks to a towering 2 run blast, clearing the center field batters eye; putting Bayside up 2 to 0. This lead would quickly vanquish as the Dolphins responded with 3 bombs of their own in the bottom half. Casey Bryant and Ryan Slater went back to back to tie the game at 2. Then with a runner on, Kyle Robertson went deep for the second time this season, putting the score at 4-2. An explosive outing from the Dolphin bats produced yet another routing of the Marlins from Bayside. Tyler Clements moved to 6-0 on the mound with the win today, giving up only 2 ER thanks to a 2 run shot at the hands of the Bayside slugger. That 2 run blast gave Bayside an early lead before a barage of hits gave the 'Fins 13 unanswered runs for the ten-run win. Ryan Slater hit two home runs, one of which being a walk off grand slam in the 6th inning; Slater finished with 5 RBI's. Other notable hitters today for the Dolphins were Alex Lambert, who went 4-4, Kyle Robertson, who hit a 2 run homer in the 2nd inning and finished 3-4 and Casey Bryant, who homered for the second time this season against the Marlins. The Dolphins move to 14-3 (12-1 Beach District) and remain in a tie with Cox atop the Beach.

The Diamond Fins return to field of play on Tuesday, May 11th @ 5PM, as they travel to Kellam to face the Knights.
