He was probably only trying to make the point that there are actually more high school seniors and juco sophomores than there are Top 25 programs to which they aspire to play. At least, I hope he even was trying to make any point at all, which might be progress.

Any assistant coach that has that many calls and emails to handle tells me that he HAS NO CONTROL over his recruiting base.

Sounds like he should take his "Dockers" to another job.

I am not sure I understand your response. How does a coaching staff control the number of young men that call or e mail them?

His info shows why you have to be pro active. E-mails with photos inserted and very few words. Phone call follow up and send the well edited video.Don't bore or waste their time. Things have changed over the last few years and time is consummed with all the guys trying to get recruited. You have to make an impact immediately. Once you provoke interest you will get more of their time.

I don't understand your post. How does receiving so many emails, etc mean the coach has no control?
Sounds to me like he has a whole lot of players who want to attend their program.

I don't know if Dibs numbers are correct. But it does put into perspective how many players there are and how many actually get offers.
