Eagle, Your point about "incoming hs'ers" is not lost on me. However, it's been that way for a number of DECADES.

Since new seasons begin on Sept 1, the 14Us are a couple of weeks from their 13U USSSA or Super Series "WORLD SERIES." They won't be incoming hs'ers for a year.

My observation is simply that the clubs all seem to be moving down to grab the 14s; whereas in the past decades it was 18s, then 17s, then 16s, then 15s, and now 14s...
The A's are good organization. Can't say how good the 14's are but they will be competitive. Take a look at them and judge for yourself. You should always look and just not take the word of all the people on the board. There is always going to be those that will hate the organization, because of their bad experience. The best thing to do is go to the tryout and see for yourself and be your own judge.

Good post RSC... Our experience with the A's was not good but for another player it might be the perfect fit.

I do think it is important to get some opinions from previous players/parents whether it be on this board or contact some of them.
