I have heard the Richmond Braves have split up and now have 3 14U teams. Does anyone know why they split? Can anyone one tell me anything about the team that's looking for players

Are you sure they split up? I know the Braves run teams at different levels, e.g., the National team, the Scout team, etc.
Normally in the Fall there is one team, but for the Spring the team would be divided up by talent. Not sure these days since my son has moved on to college. Call Tommy Myers if you have more questions.
That's what I have heard. One brother has the National & American team, and one brother has the elite or select team; but that's what I'm trying to confirm. Just want to find out the dynamics of the 14U teams.

Mickey Roberts (Prince George HS Varsity Coach) coaches the 14U Braves Elite.
Richmond Braves National is another.
There has been a definite "Shift" with the Richmond Braves organization. Mickey Roberts started the Elite Team....that should tell you a lot.
