The Vikings 14U Travel Baseball Club will be holding open tryouts for the upcoming 08/09 season on Sat. Sept. 6th and Sun. Sept. 7th. Potential players would typically be entering 8th grade this fall and may not turn 15 before May 1, 2009. This is not a recreational travel team looking just to have fun while playing in tournaments against weaker opponents. We want dedicated players with a strong work ethic, a desire to win, respect for the game and a goal of starting on their H.S. Freshman team. To achieve our goals we will be bringing instructors to our practices and participating in Tournaments against other top teams to get you ready for High School. The Vikings have the use of excellent baseball practice facilities at Marina HS, and quality players bound for any area HS are welcome. Reasonable monthly fees include insurance, facility rental and two tournaments per month.
