Sunday 7/31 2pm
Sunday 8/7 2pm

Location: Colonial Heights High School.

After the roster is set, practice will begin in August. This may include a three way or double header or two during August. Tournament play will begin September and continue into October.

We will be off the entire month of November (and the end of October as well).

If the majority of the team agrees, we will play in the Clash of Champions NIT in Myrtle Beach, SC on the first weekend of December.

Indoor workouts will start in December.

They will include a weekly (Saturday or Sunday) team practice, including conditioning, and week day (or weekend if needed) indoor practice that will only include 2-3 players at a time. These individual sessions will allow one-on-one work with hitting, pitching, catching and fielding.

If the opportunity arises (and the weather is nice enough), we may play a tournament or two in EARLY spring, before the start of the High School season.

During the high school season, the kids are throwing, practicing and playing enough to cause wear and tear. We will run hitting sessions (the kids simply don't hit enough during the high school season) on the weekend during the high school season.

Once the High School season is concluded, we will start regular, weekly (if not twice a week) practices to get us ready for the Summer tournament season.

Tournament play will begin in LATE May (possibly) and run until into August.

We will be attending the 15U World Wood Bat National Championship / Perfect Game tournament in Georgia at the end of June.

We will also be playing another National level event sometime in July.

We will be playing in 16U and up events when applicable.

I will start to talk to players and parents about what they hope to accomplish as far as baseball is concerned, and possibly playing at the next level.

We will have breaks in our schedule to allow players to attend individual showcases for exposure to coaches at the next level.

Grade Point Averages will be available and players will know what is expected of them.

Sorry about the long post I had several inquiries about the the goals of the team, so I posted it here instead of invidual emails each time.
