I wouldn't have started Clemens in a night game due to his injury which has not healed. In spite of the wrap, and probably an analgesic I don't think that the hamstring is gone to allow him to push off properly.

I would have gone with Pettitte and followed if necessary with Wheeler rather than Rodriguez. Rodriquez was 10-10 with an ERA over 5.00 with a WHIPS of 1.46. Wheeler would have been a better choice with a better ERA and WHIPS.

Now Clemens is probably out of the picture. That puts a lot of pressure on the rest of the Astros pitching staff to make up the difference. Gallo and Qualls will have to step up and do the job either in relief or take a start in Clemens place.

But I'm an NL guy and going to stick with the Astros.
