I'm surprised Stassi is still out there. Imagine if he and his family had gone to wait to be selected....ouch!!

He must want big bucks to sign, wonder if he is a Boras kid. Like to see the Sox grab him in 4th or 5th and then give him above slot money to sign like they did with Ryan Westmoreland last year in the 5th round.

A friend's son was a supplemental first rounder. He went out with friends during the draft. He couldn't handle hanging out with all the people at his house. Imagine what it would have been like hanging out in a waiting room at the draft.

I think make up is a combination of toughness(mental and physical), competiveness and desire. Not crumbling when negative things happen. Wanting the ball or the at-bat in a big spot. Doing whatever it takes, within the rules, to win.

Two kids who play with my son have told him they don't like batting 4th. Too much pressure and expectations. I would not consider them good make-up kids.
