Stay safe out there this week!

TY. We are on the east coast so storm surge isn't an issue. I have friends on west coast of Florida who have been  forced to evacuate this morning. Plus debris is still everywhere in those area from last week. I live in a grid zone that supports 2 fire stations and most power lines in my city are underground. We have never lost power for a long period of time.

Son was in Ft Myers this weekend and basically it was miserable weather and a tough ride back to Gainesville on 75. I just heard St Pete turning off water supply. Other cities to follow.

It is scary and Floridians, especially those on the other coast, have had enough.

Stay safe!

Storm track heading right at my house so that's fun. I am not near water so wind is our primary concern.

On a baseball note the big Perfect Game "Jupiter" event was supposed to start Thursday.  Was going to be my 2025's last travel tournament.

PG has pushed it back to Friday start as of yesterday and asked teams to notify them if they are dropping out by this morning.

Our first three games we're supposed to be from teams hailing from Illinois, Massachusetts, and Texas.

No idea how people coming from a long way can make an informed decision, or what kind of refunds they could get on their travel arrangements.

Going to be an interesting week, and good luck to my fellow Floridians.
