I'm going to resist the temptation to discuss select organizations in the D/FW area.

On another note, it's always good to see D/FW teams having success against teams from other regions of the country.

Seriously? I just ran a quick search and the word "Dbat" is mentioned in two thousand two hundred and seventy posts. And the word "Mustangs" is mentioned one thousand one hundred and sixty four. Patriots? Four hundred twenty one.

It's not that it bothers me, but it's a no win topic no matter which way you cut it. Much like you said the 2012/2013 discussion is the same thing!
If you don't care what are you reading the posts for?

The Pats went 3 - 2 in the tournament. Didn't make it to bracket play. Consolation game tomorrow.

Dallas Yankees are playing the Knoxville Impact - Adidas IN bracket play. Good luck to the Yankees. Bring it home to Texas. Yankees are in good shape with the addition of a few players that weren't with them earlier in the season.

The Dallas Yankees were defeated in the top 16 by the Carolina Cyclones 5-3. We played the game right after them and watched as they hit what looked like a walk off grand slam. However, it fell short at the wall for the 3rd and final out. We enjoyed visiting with some of their parents, and will face them next week at the BCS Finals in Ft. Myers.

Congratulations to the Canes North, tournament champions who defeated us (Florida Mustangs) in the final 6-0.
Rangerfan is correct in that the 16U Patriots are 1-2 vs 16U DBat/Mustang Sharp. Other than those loses, the 16U Patriots (Stout) are undefeated against the other DBat/Mustangs teams they've faced this summer including Hinojosa (2-0), Gufstason (1-0) and the 15U Phillips team (2-0). So by my count the Patriots hold a 6-2 advantage this summer. Just like the Dbat/Mustangs organization, the Patriots have three 16U teams, which could be causing some of the confusion (16, Red and Blue). The 16U team is coached by Logan Stout, and that's the one that went to East Cobb and is referenced above at 6-2. I can't speak to the records of the Red/Blue teams vs Dbat.

Back to the topic...after the consolation game in East Cobb, the Patriots finished 4-2 allowing only 12 runs in 6 games...the bats went cold though, and resulted in two close loses.
DBAT has so many teams, who can keep up with every team record. They have (6) 16 year old teams. Wonder what their record is against their own teams
and how did they do in East Cobb if they went.

If there is one thing that I've learned, all the organizations are the same...they all have problems and issues, you just have to find the right fit for you kid.
Some folks will never get it.........

Who cares who beat who and how many times. And how many teams one organization has or doesn't.

Hell, the Red Sox have beat the Yankees all eight times this year. I guess the 20+ World Series banners don't matter in New York?

The emphasis on all of this for each player and team is to play the game in the way it was intended.

For each team and player to progress together and individually and do so in a sound baseball environment.

All the time you clowns spend bickering back and forth on which Joe Smoo beat who is a complete waste of time. Put forth that effort into enjoying watching your son progress as a young man while playing the great game of baseball.

If you can find a team that allows that, that's all that really matters.
