2011 American Legion State tourney field is set!

District 9 - Post 3 Roanoke

Kudos to Post 217 Big Island. They came all they way through the losers bracket and forced a second game yesterday which they only lost by one run. They played four games in two days to force the final showdown.

District 2 Championship (Game 2)
280 Greenbrier - 17
60 Norfolk - 11

Down 7-0 after the top of the 1st inning, 280G chipped away and eventually won the District 2 Championship. Hat's off to Post 60... very skrappy young team that can swing the bats and doesn't give up.

Also... 280G is 16-3 now, not 15-3.
