Does anyone know when the will accounce the reclassification of districts? I know the schools had to have their numbers in by Oct. 13th.
Any rumors? Are they going to try and limit travel with all the budget cuts?

UIL website says results will be posted in February.
Anything is pure speculation. Realignment is the most closely guarded secret in the country!!! Stay tuned until Feb. 1.

I know that McKinney, Pearce, Rockwall and Rockwall Heath all posted 5A numbers.
Which of the 3 McKinney schools are you referring to?
Both McKinney Boyd and McKinney High will be 5A.
62423, you are probably right about McK High, but not for sure. They are slightly above the number from the last reclassification.
It just depends on what the bottom 5A number is. Also, hearing this about Rockwall and Heath.

Rumor is the Houston district that has chosen to remain 4A will choose to drop down to 3A for the next reallignment period.
Are they adding a school and moving kids over to it? How do you chose to drop down to 3A?
What happens sometimes is a school that is a 4A now has numbers to be a 3A, but chose to stay in 4A before (with approval from the UIL) because it was more feasible for certain things like travel etc. Now maybe there numbers have really dropped, so they feel better about going down to 3A.
