Hello Gents. Looking to get a head start on getting the word out about this year's pitching showcase. Looking both for names to watch out for (NH, MA, ME, VT) as well as suggestions for improvement.
Right now we have about 12 pitchers throwing a 20 pitch session off the mound.
I am thinking I want to go with 20 pitchers, but I do not want to dilute the talent at all. I would rather keep it at 12 and have them all high quality than add 8 pitchers who are not on that level.
RHP need to be serious prospects throwing at least 80 consistently with control. LHP have similar requirements, but have a little more room.
We have representation from all the division 1 colleges and quite a few D2 and D3 (I believe 23-26 last year, can't remember). I expect this year to be larger.
I am curious as to what you guys think. I may just keep it as is, but it is never bad to see what ideas are out there.
