2012 Wooden Bat Fall League

The 2012 Wooden Bat Fall League, sponsored by Southern Illinois Fall League (SIFL), is open to high school baseball players. This league is designed for athletes who want to improve their level of play, compete with and against top players in the region, and develop their talent in an effort to get to the next level. In the last six seasons, SIFL has seen thirty-three former players move on to play at the college level. The league runs for seven weeks, with each team playing a Sunday doubleheader. All games will be played in the Carbondale region. Registration for this league is $250.00, due by July 30th. If you pay by July 23rd, you can receive a $25.00 discount on your registration. This means that you only pay $225.00, as long as I receive your registration and payment by July 23rd! Each participant will receive a Dinger SIFL wooden bat and a SIFL game day t-shirt. Balls, umpires, and insurance will also be provided; but players are responsible for any other baseball equipment including helmets, gloves, pants, and a cup. Players are encouraged to wear their high school baseball team hat for games; this helps each player represent their high school baseball program!
