Player Development– At TIBA this means to cover every aspect of the game of baseball – from A to Z and all of the drills and building blocks it entails as well. The player and skill development is most important at TIBA – NOT the scoreboard or the outcome of the game. It is experiencing the game of baseball to its fullest measure. TIBA wants to make sure all of our players get quality repetitions to develop the proper muscle memory needed to develop proper hitting and throwing skills. Preparation is key to building confidence that is essential to be successful in this type of environment.
Coaching & Instruction- TIBA’s players are evaluated to determine their type of learning skill. Not all players are alike so it follows that they do not learn the same either; some are audio, some visual and some are kinetic learners. Coach Siebert evaluates what type of instruction best suits each individual and uses that knowledge to instruct him in the game of baseball.
Mental aspect of game– Baseball is 90% mental. TIBA goes through the mental aspect of the game of baseball to prepare our players for the ins and outs of the grueling season to come and for life’s struggles as well. It has been our experience that some players lose their confidence in their ability to play baseball because of bad instruction received elsewhere. TIBA is able to help these players regain their confidence and prove to themselves and others how good they really are.
Molding players – Coach Siebert is dedicated to instilling intensity, enthusiasm, focus and passion for the game of baseball in all players. A good coach leads by example – that’s how championship clubs are built. Coach Siebert believes that both coaches and players should always be excited to come to the ballpark whether it is to practice or play a game.
