looks like the two biggest games this week is Culpeper vs EV on friday and Courtland vs KG on tuesday.  With the end of the week bringing in 6 total games in district for most teams i feel there will be 5 or 6 teams at least .500 in the district, which could make the second half of the season very interesting in the race for the top 4 especially since most teams are piling up games because of the former snow and recent rain, man it will be fun and push depth charts.

Crazy game at Caroline versus Culpeper.   Tight game until the bottom of the 6th, 5-3 a Culpeper lead.  Final score  Culpeper 10  Caroline 9.   Errors, errors, errors...  Sloppy game with some fight.  Nice pitching by Shiflett and Farrel.   Started the 7th,  Caroline 8 Culpeper 5.  Key hits, weird bounces and a couple of errors allows Culpeper to take the lead. Lafin gets the save in the 7th.

That's the only reasonable explanation.  It is a mid-season clash of two teams that have not lost a district game.  Also have to figure the new pitching rules are playing a factor as well.  EV may be trying to have as many pitchers eligible to play as possible.

Here is the article about the game from the Culpeper newspaper.......

Foxdad would be correct on the reasoning, Oldschooler could be liberty is deeper could be ev just wanted to get guys sometime who ordinarily wouldnt get time. Either way execution is execution and i am sure both teams will be fine the rest of the way. Boy that Wyatt Teller kid is a big man and seems like a good young man the way he carried himself.
